Deputy Chief David Rahinsky

Deputy Chief David Rahinsky joined the Franklin Police Department after serving as Chief of the City of Oakland Park and Chief of the City of Pembroke Park in Florida.
Deputy Chief Rahinsky began his law enforcement career in Philadelphia in 1987. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree from Florida Atlantic University and is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy as well as the Executive Leadership Program from the Center for Advanced Criminal Justice Studies.
The Operations Division of the Franklin Police Department provides the police patrols you see in your neighborhoods and business districts. The Operations Division consists of 80 highly trained professionals dedicated to the ideal of public service.
The Operations Division includes the Canine Section, the Special Response Team, Traffic and Parking Enforcement, Neighborhood Watch, the Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program, Crisis Negotiators, Honor Guard, School Crossing Guards, and Police Explorers.
