Registering interest in doing business with the City of Franklin is intended primarily for vendors that provide products or services not pertaining to the design and/or construction of new infrastructure and facilities. However, all vendors are welcome to register their interest in doing business with the City of Franklin. Vendors that do provide products or services related to new construction are urged to browse to the City of Franklin Engineering Department’s web page, or contact the City of Franklin Engineering Department at 615/791-3218, for more information about construction-related purchasing.

Vendors interested in expressing interest in doing non-construction-related business with the City of Franklin are welcome to register that interest either by means of a third-party service (see left-hand column below) or by means of the City’s own vendor registration process (see right-hand column below). There is no fee for either method. Using both methods is not recommended.

Vendors who wish to express (for no fee) interest in doing business with the City of Franklin, and vendors who wish to express (for a fee) interest in doing business with other Tennessee local governments, are invited to do so by browsing to www.vendorregistry.com/franklin-tn-vendor-registration.



Vendors who continue to be interested in doing business with the City of Franklin on an ongoing basis are responsible for keeping their registration current. To do so, please follow the online instructions provided by the service provider, Vendor Registry.

The City of Franklin Purchasing Office continues to maintain a no-fee registry of vendors who have expressed interest in doing business with the City. If you would like to add your business to the City’s own registry, please complete and submit the City of Franklin vendor registration form.

Vendors who continue to be interested in doing business with the City of Franklin on an ongoing basis are responsible for keeping their registration current. Please complete and submit the vendor registration form referenced above whenever any information needs to be updated, but at least once every two years. Registrations that have not been updated after two (2) years may be removed from the Purchasing Office’s vendor registry.

Regardless of which method you choose to utilize, as the need arises for a particular product or service, the City of Franklin Purchasing Office uses both registries as sources of potential suppliers. Please note that the Purchasing Office cannot guarantee that a vendor will be notified of every solicitation for quotes, bids or proposals for which it wishes to compete.
