has worked for the City of Franklin since September 2006. He began with the City as the Assistant Director of Water Management and was promoted to the Director in 2007. Prior to working for the City, Mark worked as a consulting engineer, performing work on water, wastewater, and hazardous waste projects with a focus on municipal water and wastewater master planning. He has performed work throughout Tennessee and has participated in projects throughout the United States.
Mark has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Prior to attending college, Mark served in the U.S. Army infantry.
His current duties as the Director of Water Management requires that he manage a department of over 70 personnel that continually work to refine and improve operations and customer service. Also, through coordination with the City Engineer and Engineering Department, his responsibilities include planning and implementation of capital investment projects to improve water distribution, wastewater collection, and reclaimed water levels of service throughout the City of Franklin.
