The Franklin Police Department's Public Affairs Office provides a critical liaison between the Department and the community that we serve. The Department's Neighborhood Watch Program, Citizens' Police Academy, Franklin Police Explorers, and Franklin Police Volunteers are a few of the community based programs coordinated by this Unit. Public Affairs also coordinates the Department's various crime prevention initiatives, including Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) training for women and the Department's School Resource Officer Program.
To arrange for a tour of Police Headquarters, or a special appearance by a Franklin Police Officer at your business meeting, school, or special event, contact Officers Ryan Schuman, or Eric Johnson.
Franklin PD Public Affairs also works closely with city officials to coordinate police support services to the many special events held throughout the year in Franklin.
