Crime Stoppers is an effective resource that joins private citizens with law enforcement to solve difficult crimes. Citizens who are reluctant to contact police with information can do so, through Crime Stoppers, while remaining completely anonymous. Citizens who provide information to Crime Stoppers are issued a code number that they can later use to collect a reward of up to $1,000 if the information that they provided resulted in an arrest and indictment.
