Divisions

Franklin Fire Department develops, organizes, equips and maintains the capability to deliver exceptional service to calls for help, anywhere in our city’s 41 square miles, in 4:30 minutes or less. We also provide mutual aid to surrounding communities when needs arise. For example, in February 2008 our crews were dispatched to the Fairview area to assist in search and rescue operations following the tornadoes that devastated that community.

In order to deploy our firefighters, we must have the necessary support assets - Administration, Operations (including Training and Medical), Fire Prevention, and Communications.
