Overgrowth and/or litter violations cited to court can result in fines of up to $50.00 per day for each day the violation remains. In cases of non-compliance, the city may be forced to remedy the problem, and place a lien for the cost against the property.

All tires must be properly inflated.
Vehicles must be licensed and bear current tags registered to that vehicle.
All grass and vegetation must be kept cut from around and under the vehicle.

Yard Maintenance and City Lots
Failure to keep your property cut and free of litter affects everyone. Overgrown and littered yards and lots threaten the healthy and safety of all residents.
To ensure that all citizens live in a safe and clean city, laws have been passed that require all residents to maintain their property. Overgrowth in excess of (12) inches is a violation. Litter on Property may serve as a breeding ground for insects and rodents and is also a violation of city code.
If your property, or that of a neighbor, is reported or observed by an inspector to be in violation of the overgrowth and/or litter codes a Notice Of Violation will be sent with a compliance period. Failure to comply with a Notice of Violation may result in a court citation.
