Program Description
The City of Franklin supports the visual arts by providing two public spaces in City Hall for local artists. The FireHall Art Gallery offers 77 ft. of wall space and is located on the South end of City Hall by the Police Department and Fire Administration offices. The Community Art Display is located in the main hallway by the 3rd Avenue entrance. Art shows rotate monthly and may feature one artist or a group of artists.
Jury Description
The City Hall Art Jury is responsible for scheduling and jurying exhibitions for City Hall. The Jury was created by Resolution of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on April 11, 2006. The Jury meets once a month, usually on the first Wednesday of the month. The Jury consists of four members who are appointed by the Mayor. Current members include:

Kelly Selfe, Chairman – Kelly has been an art educator for 12 years and has taught pre-school through college art. She currently works at Moore Elementary teaching pre-school through 4th grades. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Williamson County Cultural Arts Commission.

- Janet Cruz, Vice-Chairman – Janet graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from New Mexico State University. She currently serves has the Fine Arts Department Chair and Associate Professor at O’More College of Design.
- Yvette Renée Parrish - Yvette Renée is a professional artist, educator, mentor, and business owner. She graduated from Watkins College of Art & Design in 2002. Yvette is the co owner/director of Full Circle Art representing 30+ visual and musical artists. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Williamson County Cultural Arts Commission.

Fire Hall Gallery
The Fire Hall Gallery provides wall display units and track lighting in the hallway by the Fire Administration offices. Approximately 77 ft. of horizontal wall space is available for artwork.

Community Art Display
The Community Art Display is located in the main hallway of City Hall and provides panels of grids by which to hang artwork. Shelving can also be added to the grids. Each panel measures approximately 2 ft. by 6 ft. Usually there are 13 panels set up providing 312 ft² of space. Additional panels can be added.

The City may allow for other temporary methods of displaying artwork, such as easels or pedestals, as long as it is provided by the artist and does not interfere.
