Free document shredding coming to Franklin on ‘Secure Your Identity Day’ April 22

More than 18 million Americans have fallen victim to identity-related fraud over the past two years. On Saturday, April 22, 2017, the Williamson County Better Business Bureau will host Secure Your Identity Day at the Cool Springs Lowe’s, 3060 Mallory Lane, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Businesses and individuals are welcome to participate and are encouraged to bring outdated, high-risk documents including:
◾cancelled checks
◾old credit card statements
◾free credit card offers
◾tax records

This shred event is FREE and documents will be shredded on the spot. Great tips and resources to help you secure your identity will be available at the event. Shred Day is coming up quickly, so start gathering your old documents today.
